Lady Gaga Joins V Magazine As Columnist Calls Her Fans To Draw Her Picture
When it hits the shops on May 12, the summer 2011 edition of V magazine will include a page for Gaga. She is expected to impart her fashion knowledge in a fashion and arts-based monthly commentary.
She announced on Twitter: “I begin next month as a Fashion+Art Columnist for @VMagazine.”
The magazine explained that in Gaga’s first column, she “will be gracing us with the presence of her pen [as] she weighs in on all things fashion throughout her multiverse.”
V is also holding a contest for Monster fans, which is aptly named “Drawn this Way.” Fans are encouraged to submit drawings of their “Mother Monster.” The best one will run as Gaga’s headshot alongside the singer’s column.
The magazine adds, “We are asking all artists, creators and little monsters to submit illustrations of our new columnist dressed in her most studious ensemble.”
Gaga and V will pick the winner together.
